Water Tank

The purpose of the water tank is to act like a bucket, or a storage device. It can hold up to several gallons of water, which could take 30 to 60 seconds to fill up fully.

When you flush, all of the water in the tank is instantly dumped into the bowl in about three seconds, which is about the same as pouring in a bucket of water down the toilet.
